I keep hearing things like this over and over again. How is it possible that the Leader of the United States is responsible for the actions of a terrorist group? I don't keep up with politics enough to keep up with this argument, but maybe I missed something in the news that I did see about 9-11. I would like to think that the person that the people in the US elect to come into office would do everything in his power to stop an attack like that on the US. I am just a good ole country boy that does not keep up with the things that I cannot change but I think that GB did an outstanding job handling that.

Except when he let Bin laden go free instead of imprisoning him  :smt004

Imprisoning? They had the crosshairs of a laser on him that was ready to guide in a 1000lb JDAM and take out the whole camp he was in. Clinton called it off because he was worried about backlash from the international community about wiping out some women and children that were "non combatants" in the camp. :smt076

What he said:
"What the cynics fail to understand is that the ground has shifted beneath them -- that the stale political arguments that have consumed us for so long no longer apply. The question we ask today is not whether our government is too big or too small, but whether it works -- whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified. Where the answer is yes, we intend to move forward. Where the answer is no, programs will end."
1-21-09
What he did:
Among Obama's executive orders:
-A freeze on salaries for White House staff earning $100,000 or more — about 100 people in all.
-New Freedom of Information Act rules, making it harder to keep the workings of government secret.
-Tighter ethics rules governing when administration officials can work on issues on which they previously lobbied governmental agencies, and banning them from lobbying the Obama administration after leaving government service.

Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

Referring to before 911. Bush had his chances too before 911. No one is going to change anyones mind about how they feel on these issues which is fine by me, I am going to say thanks to Bush for his service, and leave it at that. The one thing I think we can all agree on is we all still like to fish, probably a better topic. I wish I was down south, cabin fever here is about to drive me nuts, have not been to work since last Thursday because of snow and ice. If I had know we were going to be out that long I would have took a trip down.

Tennessee, The reason this country is in debt is very simple it is called Welfare and the one I hate the most is EARNED INCOME CREDIT, makes me sick every time I hear it.If you don't know what that means it means have more kids and get paid more along as you don't have a job. Your man Obama will give more credits to that.

Heck, four more years of Bush we would all be on welfare. I am with you brother, if you can not abort them, starve them to death. It is sarcasm, but think about it.

A peach orchard boar is a crazy boar hog because he has been eating all those peaches whole and then lo and behold, he must pass the peach pit out his posterior. A peach pit is not very smooth and it has been known to drive the animal crazy trying to pass it. Had I known you were an old football player and that you suffered from taking too many head shots, I would have been easier on you. :smt005

I'll just miss Bush on Letterman's late night "Presidential Greatest Quotes in History" segment. Poor guy just had trouble at times...
