Bman I will build one of those as a model and show it to you when I'm done. There's not much to that thang, stainless is just a pain to work with. I'm am not trying to cut Mr Porter out cause he is a good guy, I'm trying to help fellow members out. Thanks again and if ya'll want my number just ask. :-D

I have a 30hp Nissan 4stroke on a J16 carolina skiff.

Here is a photo of TC's boat- see the wing to protect the prop

Wevans- since your family and getting special treatment-
why didnt you get the wing?
Sorry, I didn't see this ? earlier bman. When I look at that wing, I see something that will interfere with the handling of the boat and the operation of the motor :smt017 not to say that it does, it just gives me that impression :smt012

My 15hp has one in it- it has protected the prop and i dont notice any major performance issues. If it is designed correctly it could act like a dolphn.

I would just order one and put a dolphin on the boat.
But, I like the integrated skeg guard that Devans made for you along with protection for the prop from below.

I think i want both together.
He can always cut it off if I hate it
:D :D

I'm really not sure exactly what you was trying ta say RR :o But my nephew has talked with Mr. Porter and they have no problem with him building them "in fact ask him to help out when he got busy" and as stated before, he has no intentions of competing with Mr. Porter, just helping out folks when he can "on the side"  He has a full time job already

I am working on the pics for anchors. I'm having trouble uploading them dang things. Computers are not my friend. Wevans is going to walk me thru it tho. Thanks again. By the way everyone wondering about the skeg guards, rock guards, whatever you want to call them, I was mearly trying to help members of this forum  , not to ruffle feathers. I AM NOT trying to compete against Mr.Porter. He did say if I wanted to build them at my house have fun. I don't want anyone to think that I am advertising to make a living. I am doing this as a hobby. Thanks

WILL FISH, THANKS.........RODBOW I MIGHT HAVE TA TAKE YOU UP ON THAT. PEOPLE ARE RELLY LIKIN THAT GRAPPLER. I'M IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING SOME DIFFERENT STYLES WITH SMALLER SHAFTES ;-) . BY THE WAY THE BIGGER ANCHOR(I CALL IT A PLAINING ANCHOR) WAS BUILT FOR A 65 FOOTER. YOU CAN'T TELL IN THE PICTURE BUT IT HAS A "WING" THAT RUNS ALONG THE OUTSIDE OF THE PLATES. THIS CAUSES THE ANCHOR TO ACT LIKE A SKI AND IT JETS TO THE TOP WHEN YOU PULL IT. IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS LET ME KNOW I LIKE TRYING SOMETHIN DIFFERENT :-D
