Post by devans850 »

Anyone interested in a custom built anchor or skeg protector. I've been tinkering around building these things and folks seem to like them. I don't have a business..just tinker :)

SKEG GUARD

Post by devans850 »

Jumptrout51....I will get some pictures for you on the anchors and skeg guards. I will try to get wevans to make the pitures available. The prices vary depending on the metal, but I will make all members a great deal. The anchors are made either stainless steel or carbon steel with zinc coating and the skeg guards are all stainless. I also built a thing that looks like a cajun anchor that a guy wanted. Like I said before I am not trying to get rich, just having fun on the side. If you have anything else you want fabricated just ask, I can probably help you out. :D

P.S. if the skeg is already broken, I can fab a new one out of stainless

ANCHORS

Post by devans850 »

The anchors are custom built for each person. They can be what ever size and weight you want. They can be rock anchors or a fluke style anchor or what ever. Not gonna quit my day job tho. I will be getting some pictures together of some anchors that I've already built and get them posted.

You have a 90% chance of hitting no rocks from Deckle Beach to Past Big Grassy....Alot of sand and grass at Keaton.

I would like to see a picture of the skeg guard if possible....
