on his new Harley Road King of about 900 miles which included his
annual spring weekend trip to THE HIDEOUT.

We fished west in 4-6 feet of water Fri until midafternoon and the same on Saturday with almost identical results. Most fish were caught on
Gulps under CTs. No fast bites and just a few small fish....most were
quality fish as seen from the results on Friday.

We only had a couple of hours on Sunday am before he got back on road so I wanted to get him a good redfish. We headed into creek near Long Point and got several strikes and I landed a nice rat as soon as we got past the mouth. Next thing I know he's got this nice 22" red on spoon and
wears him down expertly. Great moment for both of us!

Along the way on Friday am I got to use my expertise and remove a nice
treble from his thumb thanks to the antics of a spanish mack. He left with the best laugh though at my "senior moment" while launching on
Sat am. I normally fish alone so I'm a "creature of habit" and get somewhat out of synch when I have help. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!

handed him the bow line and unhooked the winch line and got in and
drove up into the parking lot and found a place to park. I looked in
rear view mirror to make sure the trailer was out of the road and lo and
behold the boat was still on the trailer. After laughing hysterically for
a few minutes I pulled back around and got in line again for a ramp....again. I can honestly there's not many things I haven't done
before....but that was a first. I'm still trying to explain myself to Mark!
