Moonlight Madness

Post by LTC-MP-BC »

With the full moon last night and the upcoming moon rise on Friday at midnight or so, planning on an excursion in the Rock Island area. Understand the concernw ith the bars east of the islanda and the large bar coming out of the Fenholloway. :o They will definately make it a challenge especially at night. Planning on west of the island toward the Econfina. Tide is scheduled to be rising after the low at 1230am. Did anyone catch the last moon and fish this area. From past experiences, moonlighting is an exciting adverture.

Last fished Anky Monday morning early about 3 miles west of river.
Floating grass was spotty...at times made topwater impossible and other times not much of a problem. If plans hold, I'll be fishing that area some
on nights this weekend. I'm planning on heading out about 3-3:30 each night.

Hope to see you out there...looks like weather should be fine.
