My party aboard where really a-bored and kept shooting glares of mutiny at having to go so slow! I just grinned and muttered something about in the long run...having to pay the price..
We finally got to the sand bar and needed to stretch a while - here's some pics:
Natalie discussing the advantages of taking captured gulf specimens home with us...

Mr. Buff his wife Sarah, my wife Karen and one of my fishing partners - Amanda

Two sisters not whining about who gets to drive next!!

More Buff and Amanda..

The trip back to the fort was more grueling. We left at 5:10 and we were out by 7:00. Fortunately, the 25 or so boats we waved at as they passed us (going FAST) were already out and gone so there was little pressure at the ramp.
Used up most of the 17.49 gals. (the pump stopped at $50 using a card) with the 25:1 mixture so I guess we're ready for phase II of break-in. I plan to get it out of the way before the fall season... too much fishing to do then! Funny thing about the extra rich mixture used for break-in ... the secretary/receptionist at the fixit place must of been told to tell me to double the oil mixture so she wrote down 100:1 and made sure I signed it

All in all, had a good day. We were visited by 3 bottlenose on the way back in - they were nice enough to stay around a few minutes and visit coming up to the boat with a couple of inquisitive look-sees at us.
The bimini we got for 1/4 usual price on ebay fit for the most part and was a real lifesaver. The motor did as expected...
The only thing that broke (maybe) is now the motor is stuck in the tilted up position... the T/T runs like it should but just wont bring the motor down.
Is it possible to run it too far up???
