I meet up with ddb, breambuster and his son (Calvin) at the Valdosta Wally-Mart to jump in head inshore fishin with them... Not many folks at the public ramp or the marina lift, maybe because of the heat, or lack of scallops so it was not to busy today. Of course I had to ask how the Trout bite was, and they said pretty good in 8 - 12 ft. Calvin was a mighty fine pin fish catcher, and caught a few fish to boot. We first tried in about 6 ft, and maybe a few bites here and there, but nothing steady. Once we moved a little deeper things got better as we tried grubs and live bait with live winning, however it also caught other fish, from the jumping Lady (much fun) to the Blues, and Trout in-between. There were a couple good stretches of action, a little earlier on, and then later before the high, but when the water stopped moving, and no wind blowing, it was freaking HOT, so it was time to go. We ended with 9 Trout biggest 22, and 3 blues, (already cleaned to blues before the pic).

Biggest fish of the day.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
