Apalachacola Fishing
I have not been on here in a while, football has been keeping me busy. I plan on visiting the area during our open week, just wondering how things are going in this area. Charles Pendegrass from East Point put me on some nice fish the last time I was down there, he is a Tennessee boy himself. Anyway can't wait to get back and visit folks I have met and do some fishing. You folks are very fortunate to have all the resouses that you have in that area. So, anyway, any fishing reports?
We fished offshore there on the 22 & 23rd. Seas were forcasted at 2-3' but were easily 5-6'. We took a beating but caught the fish. We stayed at Bay City Lodge and had a real good time. We fished in 100-110' of water. Cut bait was the ticket. We had red-grouper, red-snapper, mangrove-snapper and vermillions. Biggest grouper was in the 24-25" range. Had my dad, brother-in-law and friend with me. Had a good time dispite the weather..
