***Update*** NFGFC Tournament St. Joe Bay October 14, 2006
Our resplendant Tournament Director has asked me to post an update for the October 14 th Tournament at St. Joe Bay.
Registration will take place at Presnells prior to blast off. All participants are asked to print out a registration form from the NFGFC website prior to Tournament day in the interest of saving time. Blast off will occur at safe light which should be around 7:00 a.m. eastern time.
Weigh in will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Presnells.

I'll be expecting my gift Chalk.
Forgot to add that this will be a CCA event and participants will be required to be a CCA member to fish. You can join CCA on their website or pay during registration on tournament day. In the interest of saving time it would be helpful if everyone paid their CCA dues prior to tournament day. I believe the cost for a CCA membership is $20-$25.

Based on conversations with the Tournament Director and NFGFC President this morning, I have been ask to pass on the following information regarding the up coming tournament.
birddog is correct that ALL anglers are required to be members of the Coastal Conservation Assoc. (CCA) to be eligible to fish this tournament. The fee to join is $25. If you'd like to know more about the organization and the membership benefits, you can reach their web site at the following address. You can also join on the site or pay the morning of the tournament. http://www.joincca.org
The fee schedule can be a bit confusing for this tournament. Here are some examples that may help (that at least is my intention
)
EDITED 1:35 Based on a phone conservation with our TD example #1 needed to be modified.
1. A two member team with neither individual having CCA membership would pay $25 each to join CCA. A $20 boat fee (assuming both are club members) also would be needed. No other fees unless they participate in the big fish pots.
2. A two member team with one individual having CCA membership and one with no CCA membership. Non CCA member would pay $25 to join CCA. $20 boat fee would still be required. No other fees unless they participate in the big fish pots.
3. A two member team both active members in CCA. A $20 boat fee would be required. No other fees unless they participate in the big fish pots.
All fees collected for CCA will be forwarded and individual membership applications included.
All other tournament fees ($20 team and big fish pots) will be administered/paid out as before.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

BTT - I deleted your posts, don't be mad at NFGFC or CCA or PA or the sharks...you can be mad at me...That is all...Thank youChalk wrote:The beating's will continue unless morale improves.
Thank you,
Chalk
Hope to see everyone at the tournament. I am just amazed that you all have not seen the real truth behind this plot....The plot was to make certain people not participate, so certain tournament leader could cushion his lead.....So, everyone come to the tournament and make him show us he deserves the title
