JSuber is great

Post by Jumptrout51 »

JSuber is a fisherman and a gentleman.
When we returned to Presnell's for the NFGFC tournament weighin my partner was still in the boat at the dock. I handed her the keys to back the car down to load out. Somehow the keys slipped thru and landed in the water at the dock.
Little did we know it is about 7 feet deep at the dock. After dredging with a long handled crabnet to no avail,it was time to remove the hearing aids, the thong and the shoes and go key exploring.
Before I could get my pants down to remove my thong,I hear a splash in the water. It's JSuber naked from the water level up and walking down the ramp towards the keydrop. Momentarily,he dons a diving mask(courtesy of Capt. Fred) and goes exploring in the very murky water. He brings up 2 different handsful of things and asked us to sift through them. My keys are not among the rubbish. One more attempt and he plops the keys on the boardwalk and said "I found severals sets,I hope these are the ones". Hallelluyah. My keys are back. On top of that the auto lock still worked.
JSuber would not accept a gratuity for his gallant display of search and recover.
That shows him to be a true gentleman.

OK..Let's get this straight.. sometimes at the dock you have a hard time putting stuff IN the water and other times you have a hard time keeping stuff OUT of the water..

Do you just do this on tournament days or just most of the time, JT??

I would like to thank JSuber for his kindness in returning JT51's keys and keeping JT51's pants on

Actually I think my partner dropped them on purpose as payback for my non-catching ability that day.

New rule #32

You arrive as a team, you must leave as a team.

Unless said team member is JT51. :-D

I'm not playing bridge anymore, I'm back working in Tallahassee for the first time since the completion of the St. George Island Bridge.

Now I will have more time to fish again. I feel my fishing techniques are a little rusty due to the last couple of years.
