Hi Fishingnut,
I, too, live in Havana and would be very happy to share with you what I know of the area. Redbelly has recently posted some promising reports from Iamonia, but I've had no luck there. Everyone I've talked to about it says it's a tough lake to fish. I'm always looking for fishin buddies. I generally work 3 days a week so have plenty time off from work. E-mail me kevinlblaine@yahoo.com and let's plan a trip.

At iamonia or sukkee you will do best to fish the morning bite, along the pads.
After the sun is up and the bite slows, you must move into the pads and jig down deep.
