NFGFC makes it to the big time....

Everyone around the office knows I live and breath fishing...I'm always giving old magazine's to folks around the office....Yesterday a paper showed up on my desk, called Florida Fishing Weekly...I tossed it to the side....Arriving early this morning...I open it up to look for potential Social sponsors and to see what I might find informative inside.

I first note the editor is Mike Holliday from the Chevy Fishing Report on the Sunshine network....Flip a few pages and see a picture of some guy holding a trout and redfish..I scan the article and notice highlighted was Keaton Beach and Apalachee Bay..I look at the picture again and see Mike Scibelli's name ...never thought I would see that name in a fishing magazine

I read on down and Mike describes his day on the pond at the Carrabelle tournament. Also he states the winners of the tournament and their weight by name: Robbie Green, Bill Palmer, Jim Chalkley(wish they would spell my name right ), John Vickers, Steve Taylor and Butch Taylor.

Anyway's thought it was cool the club made it into a magazine...It's in the October edition...www.floridafishingweekly.com.

Wevens and I were in the April or May issue when we won the April tournament representing NFGFC. Big full page picture and article.

I couldn't find the scanned copy of it. Wevens may have it on his computer.

NFGFC is getting around and out there .

The local editor has come to several of the NFGFC meetings...I think his name is Jerry. Sorry if I got that wrong. Enjoy that paper, something a little different vs. the major magazines.
