"Head Boat".

I see a lot of references to a "Head Boat".
What is this ?
I assume its some kind of fishing boat.

Head boats are the big boats that carry upwards of 20 people on the boats at the same time. They are stacked like "heads" of cattle. These are generally cheaper trips that are catering to tourists and walkup traffic in the tourist traps around the state.
