1982 CJ7 Jeep

Post by MudDucker »

I've got a 1982 CJ7 for sale. Here are the particulars:

Has a warn winch.

Replaced 254 engine with a remanufactured (not just rebuilt) engine less than 5000 miles ago.

Replace the 4 speed tran with a 5 speed tran at the same time as I did the engine swap. Put in a new clutch.

Replaced the rear axled with solid axles less than 2000 miles ago.

Put a mechanical locker in the rear end when I replaced the axles.

The above repairs and/or replacements cost over $4k.
Replaced the power steering pump, water pump and front end parts less than a year ago.

This jeep was originally a hardtop. Someone added an A/C. the A/C needs charging. My son put a bikini top on in the summer. I purchased fiberglass half doors for use with the bikini top.

I had totally redone this jeep about 4 years ago and then gave it to my son to drive. When I redid, replaced all of the seats and had the jeep painted. It was red and black and I repainted it red and black. Put aluminum bright plate corners and rocker protection on the jeep. I also put a 2 inch lift kit with new springs and shocks on it. I put AT type tires so that my son could hear the radio playing. This jeep saw very little time in the woods.

Asking $8500. The jeep is located in Valdosta. About the same price as a kawaski mule, but you get so much more.

If you are interested and want to see pictures, send me an email with your email address.
