Question: Bull Reds in passes
A couple friends and I keep talking about fishing for bull reds one day this winter, and I was wanting to get a little info on the subject. I've done it before at the pass in Pensacola, so I know general rigging, bait, etc. What I was wanting to know more about was best stage of the tide, times, locations, etc. I know Sikes Cut is pretty much the best known area, but I was wondering if the other passes (East Pass, West Pass, etc) were just as good. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Bob Sikes cut is your best bet IMO. I have caught them many ways but the most productive is cut bait on the bottom near one side or the other of the cut. Use enough weight to get it down and a large circle hook. As long as there is water moving you should be alright.
Take a large treble hook and snatch some mullet while your there.

You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?
