Aucilla creeks 12/16

Post by Welby »

My cousin and I put in a little before 8:00AM and went straight to the hole where last weekend we boated 50 or better Reds. What a difference a week makes. Not the first strike. Then we moved into some creeks. My cousin puts a 20" Red in the boat. I had a Red almost to the boat and it got off, :-? it appeared to be short anyway. That was my only strike of the day. My cousin finished up with a keeper flounder just before we left. During the day we moved into several creeks and even out on the flats a little. The water on the flats was as clear as it could be. What a beautiful day to be on the water. May squeeze in one more trip before the end of the year.
