20 Red stringer and we thru back the small ones......

Post by Barhopr »

Went to Richmond Hill for an early Christmas with my Sister and BIL and had a chance to do a little East coast fishing with the Bro in law and a few of his friends from the Kilkenny River area on Sunday. I knew that we were in for an adventure when the planning of the trip was dependent upon getting into the creek before the tide was too low. Not to mention the plan was to get into the creek and be stranded until the tide came back in. So the four of us loaded up in my little skiff with 2 quarts of live shrimp, about three ice chest and at least a dozen rods. I knew I was in trouble when everyone else in the boat has either waders or knee high boots and blue jeans on and there I was with shorts and crocs on. Anyway we ran on the Atlantic side of an Island for a few miles and our trusty guides Robert Anderson and Frasier Bowen said “there it is, just run it up on the beach.â€

Nice trip. Wouldn't blame you for being a little wary of leaving a boat out there. Looks like it worked out though.
