Decided to do an afternoon trip back to where I was Sunday.
The fish weren't in there as thick today. And they weren't as big. But there were fish there. Managed to boat 13 reds between 16" and 23". All but 2 were slot keepers. The fish would slap at a topwater bait but would not eat it today. All of the fish were caught on a soft jerk bait.
It was overcast with a light southeast breeze most of the day. There was a 2 hour stretch of no wind at all. It slicked off. The water surface temp was 63 degrees.

Great report! Hard to believe the weather and water temps!
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
