Reel Slow said it best. Ya don't know if ya don't go.

I waited until most of the rain had passed to hook the boat up this morning. Launched around 11:00 this morning and headed east. The wind was out of the northwest at 10 to 15 making a nice chop on the gulf. Got a little wet during the ride east. Water temp was 62 degrees when I got there. I was surprised to find it that warm. It was overcast and I endured a few light rain showers. I fished creek mouths. I fished creeks. I fished shoreline. Nothing was moving. Not even the mullet. I had 2 bites all afternoon. I saw the first fish swirl. I threw to the fish and he ate it. He immediately tied me 7 ways to Sunday in some rocks and oysters, and broke off. I saw the wake of the second fish, threw ahead of him, and he inhaled it. I had that one on for about 5 seconds and the line broke. Maybe I should have re tied after dragging the line through the oysters half a dozen times.

The water temp was still 62 when I left. However, the wind had dropped to almost nothing. Smooth sailing back west.

I suppose I'll keep looking till I find um.
What was I supposed to do today?

I know where to find them, I'm just looking for more places. And lately, the pickins are slim. Good to hear you went out and got wet. I did too.
