Opening Day of 07 Timberdoodles

Post by Reel Slow »

Thought I would share a few picts of my timberdoodle hunt. Went out Thursday and had 8 points over 1 hour which is fantastic for this area. Today, fewer birds but my two "ugly" dogs, Quill and Kodi, pointed all 4 birds we found. I was luck today...got 3 shots and somehow bagged all three! Nice afternoon with a bit of chill in the air for once! The one that got away I saw running on the ground under the brush and it escaped out the back side....

Kode Blue! Pointing in a good spot:

Don't take many birds each year, but it is always a fun bird to hunt!
