A buddy and I barely launched from the LH at 10:00 a.m. this morning. It was extremely shallow and bitterly cold at 30 mph.

We turned in toward the shore and started fishing when we could go no further. For about an hour or so it appeared to be a tough day, but the fish finally turned on. We boated 12 reds to 32" and 2 trout just shy of 20" on spinners and spoons.

We had planned to fish a creek but never made it. Stayed on the flats all afternoon.

Can't wait til next time.

There are fish in the ocean...they must have just shown up. They appear to leave when I'm around... :-D
