Well. I just couldn't stand to see the boat on the trailer and under the shelter any longer so to the coast we headed. We put in at the public ramp @ 7:30 and loaded back up at 3:00. The only fish we saw all day were a small school of reds cruising some oyster bars. They didn't like the gold or silver spoon we were offering. They did like the top water we offered just not to eat it just follwo it around for awhile. All things considered, my wife was happy we got to run the boat, I was happy to somewhere other than the house and enjoyed the day with bride. I guess all this means is I'll just have to wet a line every chance I get.
