Actually, Team Suber won the tournament with a 5 fish limit that weighrd 8.35 pounds. Team Chalk/Tin Can finished second with 4 fish that weighed 7.94 pounds. Team Showman/Cramer finished third with a 5 fish limit that weighed 7.38 pounds. Chalk had the big fish weighing 3.03 pounds.

We had 11 teams fish today. We hope to increase that next month, Feb. 10, for the Redfish tournament.

Thanks to all those that braved the weather and fished today.

You know what they say, a broken clock gets it right twice a day, and even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then. Thats the first time I ever placed in one of those things. Thanks to everyone who participated, and great job to you all. I look forward to seeing each and everyone at the next event. Good job Tincan, Chalk, Showman & Cramer.

Chalk and I thought we saw "The Sopchoppy Redneck" in the river yesterday morning. Chalk said "That looks like Wevans". I said "Sure does. But he didn't enter the tournament. He ain't that stupid".
