Its Over

Post by MudDucker »

The 2006-2007 duck season is officially over this afternoon, but for me, it was over yesterday at 12:15PM when I pulled my boat out of the pond. This season came in with a bang with great early teal shooting, but it closed with a whimper. On my last 4 outings, I killed a limit only once and killed only 2 birds once and 1 bird twice, with one of the twice being yesterday.

And now that I can turn my attention to fishing, the trout season is closing and the grouper season is not far behind. Whats a man to do

Guess I'll have to go back and take up perch jerking :-D

You can still fish for trout, just can't keep 'em. I may be playing more golf, my game needs a lot of work. 8)
You gonna talk, or you gonna fish?

I quit golf when I was 18. I played on my HS golf team because I could out of school early one day a week. When I got to college and they said I didn't need to to do that to get out early one day a week, I discovered I need all that extra time on wine, women and song. Now I need all my time for my song :-D

If there's not a life after fishing, I don't want to live it.....

I didn't think I would ever play until my daughter started playing in middle school. Now I am hooked, been playing since April. It's a great way to spend time with the kids (my son who is 10 plays also) if you have the patience. :-D :smt011 :-D
