Brrr Artic Reds 2/3

Post by rx fisher »

Got the chance to go on the Greenbone with Don and a friend, Inman.
Knew it was cold, but I was sure it would warm up, it did from 39 to 41
with a 20 to 30 knot wind.

My cousin had given me a great deep winter jacket with all kinds of straps
at 40 mph and 30 degrees is not the time to learn to use them. That hood just pushed all that cold air down my back, I never warmed up till in the truck, not complaining just I think my shivering was helpful in getting the fish to bite.

Nice day with friends and caught some fish, note to self get out the user manual for the jacket
The water temp was 55 degrees and the bite didn't arrive till early afternoon but we had some fun and I had red fish for supper.

I think Inman got frost bite, dont think the man wore enough clothes.
It wasnt till RX bought the 1st round  and really broke the ICE,then the
reds started to bite :o .Rodbow, the deer was repaced by otters- no water where you caught yours, only ole'man blue herion was standing on dry
land at that spot.JT, I'll be working this weekend so no fishing
Rodbow, you should try to team up with RX for the tourney.
RX,thanks for the tips on batting practice :-D
