St. Marks 2/6/07 Where's the bait?

Post by birddog »

Struggled to launch from the LH at 11:00 a.m. today. Got off the trailer and headed east. We had to wait a long time for water to come in before we could fish.

The wind blew a gale out of the south and the bait had disappeared since my last trip so I knew it was gonna be tough. We ended up with 5 reds to 27.5" all on spoons. Only saw 8 or 9 reds all day.

A few pics from today:

Only saw 8 or 9 and caught 5, pretty good odds I'd say.

Good job

Why, to get out of the LH channel, or mark the rocks with gelcoat for future ID.
