I think Birddog was navigating, last thing he said was "Turn here, I have gone through here 100 times, it'll be all right."

I saw this in another forum and it was reported that it was a stolen boat being chased by the authorities. The perps ran it up into the marsh and jumped out and tried to flee on foot, they didn't make it.
