1997 Wellcraft 190 CCF (19' Center Console)...Pics!

Post by CoachDitka »

With a new kid running around the house, I have come to the conclusion, with the "help" of my wife, that I just don't have the time to use our boat anymore. That being said, I figured I would check to see if there is any interest here, and to see what a fair price might be. That being said, here are the specs I can think of offhand:

-1997 Wellcraft 190 CCF
-Johnson 112spl motor with fairly low hours (I knew the previous owners that had it from new and they barely used it) with power tilt/trim
-Galvanized trailer with new tires and bearings
-New binnacle control
-motor gone over by Bellflower when I got the boat about 1 1/2 years ago. Had them replace a leaking head gasket, the water pump, and the other various little things they suggested.
-New fuel filter
-Eagle Seacharter 480DF fishfinder/gps with a few good spots near St George/Dog Island (only needed a few as they always had fish on them!)
-Lowrance UHF Radio
-Biminy top
-Boat cover

Gave her a wash and took some decent pics. First one shows the rust on the steering bracket, but the rest look nice!

Things it needs or will need at some point:
-Gas gauge is intermittant. I think its poor wiring connection, and I will probably sort that out this week.
-the swivel bracket part that the steering hooks to on the engine is starting to rust. Bellflower said that is common as they did not switch to stainless for that part until like 1999. Something to do with strength. They were not concerned and said it should be fine for a good while. I priced a used part on ebay (actually the whole damn bracket with the tilt/trim) for $150-200. Again, its fine now, and could probably be cleaned up, but alas I have had no time.
-The battery has been fine, but its probably 5 years old and I was going to replace it just because.

The boat runs great and I have never had a single problem with it other than the intermittant gas gauge thing. Boat is currently parked in front of my house in Tally, and a test run somewhere would be no problem.

I have no idea what boat values are, but low retail from the NADA site was $8015, and I would like to give someone a decent deal, as I got a good deal on it also. I'm not greedy, just can't stand to look at her parked out there anymore!

Thanks a bunch for any interest or input on prices, and feel free to contact me with any questions at (850)321-4334.

How about $6500? Anyone? Wife wants to get rid of it quickly.
