As many of you may know, Jumptrouts "Sapillo Hex" got to me on Sat. at the social by way of my wife locking the keys in our car. She was in the car trying to entertain our 2 year old while daddy was attending the raffle. She put the keys in the side pocket so he wouldn't get to them and when she was leaving the car with him he somehow hit the lock button on the door. Well, we were an hour and a half from the house so getting my spare was out. I immediatly go to my Sopchoppy connection, Wevans. He said, my best bet would be his nephew Dale. I go over to Dale, whom I've never met, explain my situation and he goes into action calling anyone he can think of that might could help us. He locates another Sochoppyite who has a wrecker service and he get there and goes to work doing his best. Mind you during all this my 2 year old has had enough and is not in the best of moods. Did I mention that my wife is also 6 weeks away from having our second son? Yet another guy that Dale knows come over that is from the Shell Point V.F.D. and is also a locksmith. He finally gets the door open for us. Walt, Dale and his wife, Chris(seatrout99 thanks for you help buddy), Chalk for the use of your phone. Dales wife was great and even let my son sleep in their truck while all of this was going on and, not to forget, a few cold ones. All I can say is that if this is what the "Sapillo Hex" is all about I say bring it on, it's some good stuff. Got a chance to make chicken salad out of chicken $#!t, and meet some of the great folks of sopchoppy and be at the receiveing end of good southern hospitality. Thanks guys and gals and you know that I will forever be in your debt.
That's amazing. All those Sopchoppyites doin that for a Georgia boy. Did they know you're from Georgia?
Seriously, that's what this world needs more of. Good folks always willing to help. There are lots of those folks on this forum. We have a great bunch of folks.
EERMAN>Sure she can hang out anytime, as long as you tell me how to get my wife to buy me a guide trip in the M.L. She went to the show with me today. Had my spare key in my pocket this time.
I have more request for the T-shirts than I am able to fill. I should have auctioned one off at the Social and donated the money to "The Home for Retired and Wornout Appliances and there Repairmen of Tallahassee".
