Does anyone use circuit breaker protection on their trolling motor? Should I?

I HAVE BREAKERS ON BOTH THE TROLLIN MOTOR AS WELL AS THE CRANKING BATTERY.

I always use a circuit breaker with my troll motor...just like the manufacture recommends. A 30 amp is what mine uses. It's the best prevention you can have against some object jamming your propeller...and freezing the motor...and burning it out. :-?

How is your circuit breaker wired into the circuit? I was just going to use a ring terminal and wire jumper off of the positive terminal to the circuit breaker.

That will work fine :thumbup: these are good breakers at a nice price "but shiping can get you on a single item" :beer:
