Does anyone use circuit breaker protection on their trolling motor? Should I?

I HAVE BREAKERS ON BOTH THE TROLLIN MOTOR AS WELL AS THE CRANKING BATTERY.

I always use a circuit breaker with my troll motor...just like the manufacture recommends. A 30 amp is what mine uses. It's the best prevention you can have against some object jamming your propeller...and freezing the motor...and burning it out.

How is your circuit breaker wired into the circuit? I was just going to use a ring terminal and wire jumper off of the positive terminal to the circuit breaker.

That will work fine
