I am now a LTC stationed in Afghanistan. Originally from Madison, just wanted to let the readers know how much I appreciate reading about the outstanding trout and redfish stories. I fish the Fenholloway when I am in Madison, good fish there most of the time. It is tough to read about the great catches some of you are making but congratulations to each of you. Save me a few trout for when I come home on leave in June. I know it will be hot and scallops will be starting. Have to dodge the scallopers but that is much better than searching the rocks over here where I am. What an awakening. Got here 9 Jan with 12 inches of snow and 5 below Zero. Not much of that in Florida
We're glad you joined our little family and proud to have you aboard. I salute you for serving our country, and protecting our home land. God bless and protect you, and we'll save you a trout.
Thank you for your service and godspeed......it's guys like you that make it possible for guys like us to be able to enjoy the freedom of going and at least attempting to keep the fish population in check God bless.....

Thanks for all you do We'll save you some trout, probably even give you a ride to go fetch 'em
Its great to hear from you and thank you for making all of this possible for us here. It's the people like yourself, in harms way, that make this the greatest country in the world. I'm sure finding a boat ride to catch'em won't be hard to find.
