Lake Talquin (Hammock Creek)

Post by One Keeper »

Went over to some friends house yesterday after work that live on Hammock Creek, walked down to the dock and to my suprise it looked like the Aucilla river during winter, boats were lined up as far as you could see both directions :o the smell of fish was in the air as they were pulling big ol slab size speckled perch out of the shallow lily pads. My buddy said they've been catching them all week like that--- that figures I left all my fishing stuff at home.

That's why I always carry at least 2-3 rods. I'm glad somebody's cathing fish over there.
