No Crew!

Post by MudDucker »

Well I never. All of my fishing buds are either wussing because of the weather or have out of town company this weekend. I can't believe they are letting a little cool breeze keep them home :smt011

OH well, the old pro is a bit much to handle solo, so I guess I'll take the blow boat out and check me some creeks :-D

If I was staying down that way, I'd love to do that one Jsuber. I want to make this a quick daytrip, so I was thinking more along the lines of somewhere between Keaton Beach and St. Marks.

I am also thinking that I might put in later and fish the afternoon incoming...just a thought.

Okay, I've made a decision. I'm gonna go ride my blow boat on Lake Jackson. Weather just ain't right for the flats.

Anybody (up to two people) who would like to go ride, leave me a PM with a phone number before 9:30 AM. I am leaving Valdosta at 10 AM. I will be putting in at the hwy 27 (monroe street) ramp about 4 miles north of I-10.

Well, I rode around for a couple of hours at Lake Jackson. Haven't been out on that lake in years and it is sure more grown up know than then. Had a good time slipping over the weeds. Saw very little fish activity and not the first gator. 2 weeks ago in Lake Immonia, I must have seen a couple dozen real nize gators.
