Made it to the landing at 9:30. The river was full and swift from all the rain. Eased out of the river and headed east. I started in 3 feet of water at 10:00. Tried several old standby spots and finally hooked up on the third spot. Made a few drifts through the area and boated my limit fish at 12:15. I fished the same general area all day. Even the tide rose considerably, the fish hung in the area. I caught somewhere around 50 trout, 30 of them being keepers. Put it on the trailer and headed home about 5:00. It's good to be catching them trouts again.
Pops, there were several boats in the area. You shoulda hollared. Big T and I talked all day. You should have heard us hailing, if you had your radio on. If you hear us, give us a hollar back.
