We always use white. 2-6 ounces will work. If the current is ripping go heavier. Bucktails with a curlytail trailer.

:o Curly tail trailer?????

Hyper Grubs don't have a curly tail trailer.. But of course they don't need to be with a buck tail jig either.

Sea Fox,

Try the 5 inch or 6 inch shrimp tail Hyper Grub with just a regular jig head. And if you want a trailer for a buck tail try the 6 inch squid..

I have been catching AJ's with a 4oz. red/white bucktail jig. Yellow is also a good color. Try to get one with a red band around the neck. Work it as fast as you can.
