Econfina in the morning

Post by springcreekcanoes »

First trip this year any suggestions on color of the day. Planning on fishing off Hickory mound till the tide turns and then move around to some other spots.
Weather forecast is looking good maybe everything will work on the boat and trailer. Always worry about first trip and if I forgot anything or what is going to break.

I was there Mon and Tuesday. Fish were in deeper water 6-7 feet, grubs on the bottom worked best. try white or natural colors of Gulp.

Try DRUNK MONKEY SLURP. HINT, SOAK WITH ABOUT 2 -3 OUNCES OF WATER MIXED WITH 5-6 DROPS VEGETABLE OIL. IF WATER IS CLEAR USE ELECTRIC CHICKEN OR PEARL.
