St Marks LH - Cinco de Mayo!

First time post, so here goes!
Wife and I put in at the lighthouse about 7 am Saturday. Drifted just out in front and a little east when we started getting bites. Wife lands the first keeper trout on live shrimp under Cajun Thunder. I started throwing a topwater Skitterwalk...Something crashed the surface near it, but missed, so i tried again...long cast and this time he nailed it - 16 in trout. These fish were aggressive with the topwater action until late in the morning, around 10:30. We used Skitterwalk and Chug Bug lures and both were working great. Lost one 18 in trout when it slipped from my hand and over the side of the boat
Those guys can be slippery!
All in all it was a great day. Took home 4 keeper trout, all around 16 in.
Trout nuggets for dinner!
Others we caught:
about 10 short trout
2 spanish mackerel
1 bonnet head shark
