St Marks inshore/nearshore 5/10

Post by Redfish Jim »

Been out of commission because of work for the last couple of months. Finally got the chance to go today with a good friend.

Total take:

5 redfish, only one keeper @24"

17" trout

6 groupers - 2 keepers

2 spanish - one nice one 23" to fork

bunch of black sea bass - kept 2

undersized cobia

Weird weather. Hard north wind ran us out of our inshore spot early. bait pods all around but not much feeding fish.

slow day for this time of year for us but we sure had a good time :D

Hope to be putting up lots more reports in the next few weeks.

Have enjoyed reading all your reports but I had to get over being jealous.
