Now that the folks have put in the markers, watch your tides and you'll be fine. PinfishKing was in their yesterday with his 24' Key West offshore . I fish from a 22' Triton and Ecky's my home port. PM dubbletrouble and Im sure he wont mind sharing his map with you. If its low tide, hammer down on it when you pass the second no wake zone( I always wait til Im past the stumps on the left because of a rock that is on the left) and dont let up until you get past the tripod. Good Luck and Great Fishing!! PS, I thought you were asking about putting in @ Ecky. Rockets right , 24 is a ways from Ecky.

It is 4 miles further to 24 from the tripod at Econfina than from the mouth of the St. Marks.
We took Frank Bradfield's 23 foot Key West out of Econfina on Saturday and had no problems. So you should be ok. Like BB said they have added some nice channel markers now so the route is much safer.

Saturday the water was high, even in the morning the low tide was high. I would be careful if the tide is less than 1 foot on the mean water level. We think its too much risk for our 22 foot Cape Horn Bay boat, but maybe we are sissy men but a new prop and lower unit can be expensive. We used to take a 19 foot fiberglass bass/walleye boat out but decided to play it safe with the new boat.Tom Keels wrote:It is 4 miles further to 24 from the tripod at Econfina than from the mouth of the St. Marks.
