Alligator Point 6-1-07

Post by dolphinatic »

Me and the 2 boys headed down to AP this morning to do a little fishing/work. First scrimp in the water about 9:30am. First sailcat on the shore at 9:31am. Second sailcat on the shore at 9:33am. Get the picture???? :smt013 Finally after 4 cats, a redfish  Missed a few nice hit-n-runs (spanish) but the boys were loving it nonetheless. My 13 year old decides to entertain the 3 year old by catching pinfish. I used one for bait and a short time later it produced a nice 22" red  Threw on a trusty gulp and a few trout got in on the action. Once the water movement stopped, so did the fish. Headed back to Tally around 5:30pm with 2 tired, dirty stinky boys & a nice cooler of reds. trout and a few cats (the boys insisted on bringing them  ). At their age, a big fish is a big fish you know

Great way to spend the day with my boys......We even got to howl one of their favorite songs on the way home "Yeah, I'm gonna miss her.....Looky there, I got a bite!" :smt005 Mama just loves that one :smt007

fishing and work should go together, right? I work too much to go fishing, so this routine is working out great    The guy at the marina down there says he could keep me busy full-time down there if I wanted.....think about it.....5 days of fishing a week :smt007 :lick:

Nice report. Not too many things better than spending time with the kids fishing.
