James Hart, Tom Keels and I launched from C-Quarters around 7:00 a.m. Headed over to Dog Island looking to settle a score with a few reds. It didn't take long to find 'em.

Tom scored early on a good topwater bite.

Then James stepped up and found 1 for himself.

Tom finds another 1 shortly thereafter

I push my way to the front of the boat and quickly hook into.....the smallest red of the day

By now, quite a crowd has formed behind us. Granted most of them were offshore guys catching bait, but some of them were getting jealous watching the show.

James fires his spoon downrange and quickly locks into a real nice red.

We finally go to the well 1 too many times and come up empty. We decide to make a move. We arrive at redfish spot number 2 and I inform Tom and James be prepared to tote a butt-whuppin', I'm tying on Ol'Pinky.

Soon after....

We fish this area out w/o much action and decide to make a move to a little area known for good trout.

We arrive and don't find much happening. Tom, however is able to rattle up a good un.

we fished on a few more hours only catching a few throwback trout. The bite seemed to be nice early morning but went away as the day progressed.

Packed it in around 3:00.

A big thanks to James and Tom for coming along. I had a great time today fellas.

Can't wait til next time.

That morning run was fun. The video does not do justice to the number of boats we had around us.

Thanks for another great trip Robbie.
