Sat trip with Capt Tom

Post by Rogan »

Gonna have to be short this morning but here is a quick report. My first time out with Capt Tom Stephens was Saturday 3-15 and I must say he is a great Captain with a mighty fine fishing machine. Chuck Wheeler, Luke Newman, Steve Johnson and myself managed a fine mess of fish including Grouper, Amberjack, Red Drum and Sea Bass. Seas were much rougher than predicted but that didn’t keep Capt Tom from locating fish. Water was really stained out to at least 12-14 miles SE of DI but cleared back toward the west toward the Yamaha. We fished from 35-70 feet and found fish on every spot. Caught a lot of short grouper both Gags and Reds in the 18â€

I fished w/ Capt Tom on Wednesday, and would highly recommend his services. Nice gear, awesome boat, and a great time. Capt Tom provided excellent instruction and worked hard, while allowing us to fish how we wanted. Everyone was in agreement that it was a spectacular charter trip.

Thanks!
