Limited out on BLUEGILLS

Well while you guys were out enjoying the tourney, I had to work @ the stores. I took off a little early and decided to pursue a species many of you probably are familiar with. After stopping by my favorite store, I went to my farm and hopped on my bluegill killer

I proceeded to spread about 800 lbs of fertilizer in my food plots after harrowing them thoroughly. Put about six blue gills in the box. While spreading the 5-10-15, I decided there was no way I could spread as much fertilizer as was probably being spread @ the weigh in so I decided to put a few more bluegills away. After doing all the damage I could do with the big green bluegill machine, I opted for a more stealthy approach to my bluegill chase.

After about two hours of spraying round up and observing the various summertime changes of the farm, I had limited out on bluegills and decided I had best take it easy on the bluegills for a while so I could get back home!!! Heres a few examples of my creel for the day. No real trophies but for the day, not a bad catch. By the way, my tecniques work well on redbellies also, which is another subspecies of Anheiser/Busch.

If you consumed that many I hope you are at home safe, because you drink about as much as I do and that would be about 0 times a year.

Great report. I haven't caught my limit of bluegills in some time. The last ones I had weren't cooked right.

Leaving tomorrow to go look at some townhouses in St Joe area. Then headed to St George to fish until Monday. Ill make the next one though, ready to talk chit and partake in several!! Ya'll guys do it up and think about poor old me braving the salt this weekend!! If any of you guys are down around St George this weekend give me a call or look for the Black Triton!! Ill be fishing in the sound, mostly.
