went there this evening got there around 7:00pm paddled out there in my canoe i had to drag my canoe for awhile to shallow then we paddled and casted out for awhile then caught like a 8 inch bass so three casts later caught a 3 pound bass then after 5 or more casts caught a 6 pounder biggest bass of my life
so i say a pretty good trip i think some people could catch more because this is basically my 2nd fishing lake iamonia and also 2nd time actualy fishing for bass and the first time catching bass
i caught all fish on a old fashion wobbling frog lure don't know what it is called

i saw one person out there, I am new to fishing for bass what kind of lures do you use for lake iamonia, my freind said all he uses there is topwater but my dad said when he and his brother went fishing (wa back in the day) there they always used buzzbaits and the wobble things

Horny toads are my bread and butter out there with all the vegetation. Buzzbaits work pretty good as well, but they dont mix with pads. Chatter baits and spinner baits can be effective also.

Where did you put in at. I assume the south side of the lake (Bull Headly). On the north side, you can still drop a bass boat in (barely).
