A TOP WATER DAY

Post by devans850 »

Me and Erica put in at alligator harbor around 6:30am and headed to some shallow water. Didn't take long and the action began. Started catching nice reds and trout in about 1.5ft of water on top dogs and spoons. Saw bait every where, the water was so calm and slick I couldn't believe it. Decided to run to another spot to see if there were some fish there. It was about the same story, catching trout and reds and a few blues. Fished until noon and decided to call it a day. Did not use anything but top water and had a blast. To make Eerman happy I finally figured the whole camera thing out. Here is what we kept. 8 trout from 24"-16" and two reds from 26 1/2"-24 1/2".Image

Nice bunch of fish.

Now, come clean. How many did you catch, and how many did Erica catch?
What was I supposed to do today?
