Me and lil bird launched at 6:15 from Freds place. The water was dead slick, it was awesome! Fished hard all day catching many shorts and few keepers. Sharks seem to love the same bait that trout eat.
Oh I'm in search of a local recipe of Ladyfish dip that I heard about.

I don't know if you are serious- but we make a fish dip from almost any leftover broiled fish...birdman wrote:Oh I'm in search of a local recipe of Ladyfish dip that I heard about.
Cream cheese, a few drops of hot sauce, a few drops of Liquid smoke and the flaked boneless fish. Stir it all up and eat it on a cracker
I actually tried Lady fish once- a friend would not let me put back a big one he caught and forced me to cook it....
It was not bad tasting - just soft and a little bony.
It would probably be fine in a dip.

Yea, Birdman. My buddy and I caught a mess of sharks last thursday south and west of blacks island. My wife and kids can't wait to look for scallops around there.

I'm not letting my wife read that last comment about the sharks...
