Alligator Pt. 6/23-6/24

Post by dawghouse1 »

A friend and I took our boys fishing for their birthdays this weekend. We went down late Sat. and put the boat in about 6 p.m. We ran out to DI Reef where I had caught a few trout last weekend. We ended up with 7 Trout and a Spanish before dark. On Sunday we headed back to the same spot. We had 4 by high tide and decided to run out and troll for grouper. We tried several spots from 35-50' and couldn't find any love. We did break off 1 and got holed up by another when we dropped some pin fish on one spot. Came back in and managed 5 more trout before calling it a day. The boys had a great time as we caught what seemed to be every fish in the ocean. Never seen as many 3' sharks. We landed 6 or 7 and got cut off by several more :smt011 .

Really good looking Quilt Hat! Even better watching the young ones hauling them in with Dad.

Only 10-12 miles so far. Every time we go and the weather has been nice enough to try we have had youngins with us which makes me a little nervous.
