Meet up with Birddog at the palace at 0600 for a day on the water in the Nutcracker II - man that is a sweet boat.

We launched at the city ramp and headed south looking for a fish...We found some..at one time birddog was up 6 to my 1 on redfish..same lure, standing side by side :smt011  ..I get credit on some of his fish though...I pointed them out to him

Ended up circumnavigating the bay looking for a pattern.

Tally for the day was 17 redfish, a bushel or two of short trout, 4 keeper trout and saw and lost a few good trout.

Soft & hard plastics and flat metal lures were the lures of choice

Thanks for the day on the water BD much appreciated

Birddog has the camera and took some pictures.

Some don't like this answer but it's as simple as finding the green grass above the water...though the fish were sitting on the swirly grass under water, next to the green grass above the water yesterday and Saturday
