I signed up with Sea Tow a couple months ago...Thakfully I haven't had to use their services so far ! I talked to Captain Joel Singletary a couple times and he's a super nice individual...All I've heard are good things about him.. See him around St Marks pretty regularly....

I signed with SEA TOW based on good recommendations.
Thankfully, I've not had to call them.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

SEA TOW!!! without a doubt!!! Capy. Joel is the man, thankfully I havent had to use it but I had a buddy that did and he could have had a very bad experience if it werent for Capt Joel and his very fast response time. Sea Tow is the only way to go.

This is the same Joel who used to run Keaton Beach Marina with his wife and family. In that role there were bound to be mixed reviews, but I always found him and any members of his family to be great people with fantastic customer service. I've heard a few people say otherwise, but only a very few. I would trust Joel with my life ... which is sorta kinda what you are doing when you go with Sea Tow, eh?

Can someone tell me where can I sign up for Sea Tow? I've been thinking about joining but am too lazy to go through the process. Does it take effect immediately once you hand them the check?

Chris, if you have insurance on your boat, there's a good chance your policy comes with vessel towing reibursement. I know mine did with Progressive.
Might want to check it out
