Econfina?????

Post by whendrix »

This may be a repeated question but have been curious about putting in at Econfina and fishing that area. Have heard about rocks, oyster bars etc...can't say I'm not worried about the oyster bars however with my GPS and data card it will make it easier to navigate, however I'm a little worried about the river. Using 18'6" Kenner trying to keep it in one piece.

Thanks for all the info.

PM dubble trubble, hes got a map marked to run down the channel. As long as the tide is up more than .5 at low tide, youre fine. However, keep in mind tides are a prediction and are often off by an hour or four!!! I scrubbed coming in @ low tide but mainly because some DUMMIES were fishing in the channel and I had to let out of it.
